We are a grassroots effort in the process of formalizing as an employee-governed nonprofit.

FINANCES


To date (06/01/2023) we have received no funding other than a grant from the Projects for Peace by the Davis Foundation specifically dedicated to hosting The Psych for Peace & Justice Conference.

Outside of the conference team, our contributors have been paid in nominal gift cards, sweatshirts and cash donations. Please consider donating to our workers

Emily Turner emily@psychinout.org

Emily is a clinical psychology Phd student at Bowling Green State University. She earned a BA in History from Villanova University in 2010.

Her research interests focus on social support and stigma reduction for people impacted by serious mental illness

Emily’s other projects include teaching yoga, farming and leading literacy initiatives in rural Nicaragua.

Aradhana Srinagesh (she/her) @AraSrinagesh

Aradhana is a first-generation immigrant from Bangalore, India. Her immigrant experiences have shaped her commitment to education, equity, and social justice.

Aradhana received her Bachelors of Science in Public Health and Psychology from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and her Master’s in Public Health from Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai. As a researcher, public health practitioner, and future clinician, she is dedicated to challenging systems that perpetuate social injustice and inequities.

After three application cycles, Ara joined the University of Rhode Island in 2021 as a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology.
